Annie and Darla— As always thinks for the support. Continue to pray for the men in your life.

Joe- You so get it Brother. Sometimes I think I would take being in chains like Paul better than some of the things I go through with my family. Then I look at the whole picture and there is no way I would trade my mission that God has given me.

Michelle– This post is something that has been brewing for awhile. Glad you enjoyed it.

Brian– Thanks Brother. Your friendship is God given to me. Love you brother.

Brent- Brother when I read your post I praised God for your boldness. I find it amazing that God finds ways to link people together with similar thoughts so that His truth can be spread further than you or I can do on our own. Keep fighting the good fight brother and thanks for the encouraging words.

It goes to the reality that everything we do has an effect on others. The phrase, “I’m not hurting anyone” is an absolute lie. Everything we do affects others.

As we lead, we will do well to remember why we lead. you’ve pointed that out nicely. To head towards Jesus.

Whoa brother. Heavy stuff. Before I met Dreamgirl, my goal was to be what I called “A Mad-Man Missionary for God.” I didn’t want to get married, I just wanted to travel the world with the gospel with nothing to tie me down. Then God brought the perfect woman into my life and all that changed. Now, after 16 years of wonderful marriage and three amazing sons, I realize that it takes more courage to do what I am doing now than it ever would have to follow my original plan.

I have often wondered what I would do in that situation–gun to thead of those you love–but you are right, that is exactly what we face as fathers and husbands every single day. Do we have the courage to face it?

Good Morning! wow and what a way to wake up! Brent did nail his post, and you have done the same. I have prayed for this for many years, for men to take thier places in the church and in the family.

“put up or shut up”

Men do want to be respected, and woman do want to be loved…this really is the only way that both will get exactly what they are desiring…God knows, HIS plan, and once again…its the only way. Bless you for your heart in this and your obedience to Christ. What a good example you are for the men that are watching you. Love you Brother!!
