Is it over yet?

Obama… McCain…McCain…Obama…  Oey Vey…  It is going to be a long 2 months.

Nor posted today and it got me fired up. Not in the way you think.  If Nor had written his post from the side of people lying about McCain I would write the same thing.

I have long since stopped worrying about politics, in that I do not talk sides anymore.  If you know anything about me now you would know that my Hope no longer lies in anything in this world.  I do not believe that the problems with this world can be changed by anything of this world, including government.

Politics ticks me off…

I just have to believe that God is sitting here going…

“Don’t these people know that the things of this world will never fix what is wrong?  Only I can do that.”

People get so tied up into who is this and who is that. Who can do what while the other can’t do that.  Who did and said while the other denies this for that.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If the same effort was put in by Parents to build strong faith filled families, change would happen from the Grass roots, where Jesus’ ministry was.  Jesus did not come to be a king of this world, he came to be the Lord of our hearts, and King of God’s Kingdom.

So as I read through Nor’s post my frustration grows.  I am to the point where I just don’t care what comes out of a politicians mouth.  All that they are doing is pandering and it drives me nuts.

Nether party has the answers I want.  My God does.

No matter who is elected this fall I will continue to rely on God and my faith in Him.  He will govern my life.  I put my Hope for change in Christ.
